In an effort to help ease issues faced with students over the last couple of years, Westmount Shopping Centre has created a program to help cultivate a mutually rewarding partnership with our local schools, and more specifically the student body. The program will run throughout the school year, providing for a more cohesive, positive outcome, while maintaining a welcoming environment for all.
As the 2022-2023 school year is about to begin, Westmount Shopping Centre will welcome our local high school and four elementary schools back with a family-friendly, community event on Thursday, September 8 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in our west parking lot. The event, in partnership with the London Food Truck Association, is a fundraising effort with a percentage of food sales benefiting each participating school. Eight food trucks in total will be participating, offering a variety of food options for those attending. In addition to food, other activities will be available including a meet and greet with London Batman, a fire truck visit from London Fire Department – Station 3, mini games and face painting (provided by Saunders Secondary School students), music and more. Westmount continues to focus on offering unique events and activities and growing valuable partnerships within our community to create fun experiences for the whole family.
