On June 15th, the local Chapter of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) held a Milestone Awards luncheon to recognize industry professionals at which McCOR’s Douglas Snider, General Manager (Calgary) received a much deserved 35-year Achievement Award.
Douglas first obtained his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation in 1987 after completing four industry specific courses, preparing a comprehensive management plan and completing two years of post secondary education in Urban Land Economics at the University of British Columbia. Certified Property Manager is a real estate professional designation awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management in the US, and administered in Canada by the Real Estate Institute of Canada. After achieving his CPM designation, Douglas continued on with his education to obtain the Fellow of Real Estate Institute (FRI) and Certified Manager of Condominiums (CMOC) designations which identify professionals in general real estate studies and in condominium management.
Congratulations Douglas on reaching such an amazing milestone in your career!
